I think I’ve got the ads squared away on this site. You shouldn’t see them anymore. Thanks for your patience. I think they were more than just an annoyance. They ruined the look and feel of the site, yes, but seeing a random video of people talking about dish soap doesn’t really work thematically on this site either.

It’s not that advertising is inherently evil. Informing your friends, family, peers, and, in my case, loyal readers (thanks!) about goods or services that you honestly think can better their lives–because you’ve used them or created them for the betterment of your own–is definitely a good thing.

Interrupting busy, thoughtful people and manipulating them into buying stuff they don’t need is what’s really evil.

You won’t see anything like that on this site ever again.
